Shop the Look:
When it comes to splurging on expensive fashion pieces, I have commitment phobia. I couldn’t swallow spending upwards of $250 on a pair of black over the knee boots that may or may not be in style next year.
But ya’ll, the Steve Madden Santa Clause came early and designed these absolutely TO DIE FOR OTK suede boots for UNDER $100!! What I love most about them (other than the price point, obviously) is the chunky heel. One of my biggest reservations about wearing OTK boots in the past was running the risk that I looked like Julia Roberts from Pretty Woman. (You know, Julia Roberts PRE falling in love with Richard Gere). But the thick heel totally keeps it PG13ish – depending on the rest of the outfit 😉
The great thing about owning these black over the knee boots is that you can literally style them a hundred different ways – leather leggings, tights, jeans, skirt, or dress. The possibilities are endless! Andddddd they come up high enough on your leg, so there’s no need to worry about feeling the pressure to apply that last minute coat of sunless tanner. PTL.
Now I know I’ve gone on and on about the boots, but I couldn’t not give a little shout out to the tunic. Dress it up with suede boots for a fun night out; dress it down with some Chucks (under $50) for a casual day of errands. If you haven’t read my post on my recent trip to Jackson Hole, go check it out and see another way I styled this boyfriend plaid tunic.
Let’s just pray this fall-ish weather sticks around, am I right Dallasites?!
